Hi, I’m Ewen.
I’m the main videographer at Ring Tail Films and will be your main point of contact for your video project. We also have a couple of other videographers if necessary for larger shoots, and they will likely be the ones editing your project under my supervision as well.
About me
I’m originally from England, although for some reason everyone here thinks I sound Australian. I first came to Canada in 2005 to do PhD in Mathematical Biology, counting grizzly bears. That didn’t work out, so I made the obvious career switch to becoming a videographer. OK, the choice surprised me too at the time but I quickly realised I was passionate about it and good at it.
In my free time I was always heading to the mountains to hike, climb, ski, mountain bike etc and so I gradually moved the business from Edmonton, to Calgary and finally Canmore. So I now have the luxury of living, working and playing in one of the most spectacular mountain ranges in the world: Banff and the Canadian Rockies.
